Week 8 - Three Way

I jammed on my three way and sleepers last week, except Robert Meachem. Philip? Not so much. Josh Freeman was good but the other guys should've been sleepers. This week, PG's not digging as deep.

We will each give out our picks of a top QB, RB & WR that we see doing well that weekend (starter quality = top 10 in fantasy points at their respective positions that week). These aren't the obvious picks of Aaron Rodgers, Adrian Peterson and Andre Johnson, but more of the guys you have to dig deeper to find.

Here are our Three Ways for Week 8:

QB- Kyle Orton
RB- Dexter McCluster
WR- Pierre Garcon

Philip:

Week 6 Three Way

I hit on Matt Forte in a big way in our Three Ways last week. Matt Ryan had an average day, but didn't hurt you. Dez Bryant was injured after catching 3 balls for 22 yards - that's a miss. Philip hit big time on Shaun Hill again, but Cadillac Williams did nothing. Cotchery was targeted a bunch, had a big gain called back due to penalty and dropped a TD - so, good idea but not the best execution on Jerricho's part. The sleepers were more miss than hit - Torain and Garcon went well, but the rest of the bunch were pretty brutal. It was tough pickings this week.

Here are our Three Ways for Week 6:

Heath:

QB- Vince Young
RB- LaDainian Tomlinson
WR- Mike Williams (TB)
Philip:

QB- Josh Freeman
RB- Mike Hart
WR- Danny Amendola

More Sleepers: Favre, Matt Cassel, Ryan Torain, Ricky Williams, Mike Wallace, Derrick Mason

TEN 31 - JAX 23 - Total Points

Away 31 - Home 23

Our record this season: 41-35

Week 5: 4-10
Week 4: 8-6
Week 3: 8-8

Week 6 Waiver Wire

If players are listed above the line (----------------), then they were probably drafted and may have been dropped at some point due to injury or poor performance. It's only Week 6 - there's a lot of football left and the NFL season, remember, is a death march. Teams need all able bodies as the season wears on.

Week 5 Three Way

We hit on everyone except WRs with in our Three Ways last week. Gradkowski and BJGE hit pay dirt, but Santana Moss inexplicably had one carry for 5 yards and NO catches. Philip hit big time on Shaun Hill and Danny Woodhead scored again, but Jacoby Jones did nothing. And again, I'm 50% on sleepers: Hernandez, Cooley and Chris Ivory worked out, but Blair White, Hasselbeck and Parrish did not.

Here are our Three Ways for Week 5:

QB - Kevin Kolb - He's baaack!
Sam Bradford - doesn't look like a rookie in the box score
Shaun Hill - we just dumped Eli Manning to pick him up

Ryan Torain
Chris Ivory
Ladell Betts
Fred Jackson
Michael Bush
Legarrette Blount

www.32teamsfantasy.com

Yes, that's our website and new home of our weekly podcast! Here it is again...

www.32teamsfantasy.com

If you are already subscribed through CBS Radio and/or chataboutit.com, you may have to re-subscribe on iTunes, but all our shows can now be seen on our own website. We are very excited about it and we really need to thank Nate Rausch of www.soundmind.org for his invaluable assistance in making our simple website a reality.

We will still bring you the same excellent content on this blog, on facebook and all other avenues of contact. But it feels good to say: See you on the world wide web at 32teamsfantasy.com!

Week 4 Three Way

We weren't so hot with our Three Ways last week. I got it all wrong, but my sleepers (as usual) panned out. I'm trying a different strategy this week and going with a few household names that may get over in a big way. My sleepers are strong, I feel. Philip hit on Henne and no one else. We are both wrong about Camarillo - why can't Favre turn him into a star? Maybe Greg's not that good....hmmm...

Here are our Three Ways for Week 4:

Heath:

QB- Bruce Gradkowski
RB- BenJarvus Green-Ellis
WR- Santana Moss

Philip:

QB- Shaun Hill
RB- Danny Woodhead
WR- Jacoby Jones

More Sleepers: Aaron Hernandez, Chris Cooley, Blair White, Matt Hasselbeck, Chris Ivory, Roscoe Parrish

Week 4 NFL Picks

Each week, Philip and I are picking all the NFL games as part of the Buffalo Wild Wings All Stars League. These are straight up picks, no point spreads involved. Here are our picks for Week 4 with the tiebreaker being the total score home-away for the MNF game:

NYJ, BAL, CLE, TEN, NO, GB, SEA, SF, HOU, IND, PHI, SD, NYG, MIA

NE 21 - MIA 28 - 49 Total Points

Away 21 - Home 28

Our record this season: 29-19
Week 3: 8-8
Week 2: 11-5
Week 1: 10-6

Week 4 Waiver Wire

We did our waiver picks on the show, basically as an homage to the Sports Outlaw who beat us last week in the Buffalo Wild Wings League. Here are his waiver wire recommendations. I'll add my own, being that this is Saturday, and I'm VERY late posting this week. You gotta listen to the show, though!

QB - Kyle Orton
Mark Sanchez

Matt Hasselbeck, Sam Bradford, and Bruce Gradkowski are my picks on the waiver, should they be available - all are useful this week, if you need a Romo-replacement

RB- Ken Darby
BenJarvus Green-Ellis
Marshawn Lynch
LeGarrette Blount

Chris Ivory and Ladell Betts should be added to this list, and a flyer on Willis McGahee as well, should the Ravens and Ray Rice be lying about the extent of his injury.

WR- Lance Moore (ya think??)
Louis Murphy
All DENVER WRs
Danny Amendola

Here's a play that might blow up this week and he's on my list: Blair White

TE- Tony Moeaki
Aaron Hernandez

I also like John Carlson, Todd Heap and Heath Miller this week. TEs always seem to play a part in that BAL/PIT rivalry.
